Furniture plays an important role in how learning environments are used, experienced and adapted. I work alongside schools and design teams to consider how furniture selection can support flexibility, participation, choice and a range of learning and sensory needs. My contribution complements the expertise of architects and designers by bringing an educational and learner-focused perspective to decisions about how spaces will function in everyday practice.

I design and facilitate professional learning that helps educators build the knowledge, confidence and practical strategies needed to create inclusive learning experiences in contemporary learning environments. Workshops can be delivered as a single session, a series of sessions or through ongoing support across a school term. Professional learning is tailored to each school’s context and may explore the relationship between pedagogy, physical space and the diverse needs of learners.
School Community Engagement and Inclusive Learning Conversations
I support schools to build shared understanding of how contemporary learning environments can promote inclusion, participation and belonging. The findings can inform ongoing professional learning, support effective implementation and guide future design and educational practice.
