Elevar Education
Guided by evidence. Grounded in experience. Shaped by understanding.
Partnering with schools and design teams to create learning environments where every learner can thrive.
Lifting Learning Together
At Elevar Education, I partner with schools and design teams to create inclusive learning environments where every learner can thrive. My consultancy brings together more than 25 years of experience in education with doctoral research into inclusive learning environments, helping translate evidence into practical decisions that support teaching, learning and wellbeing.
I believe the most successful learning environments are created when educational practice, thoughtful design and the diverse needs of learners are considered together. Whether supporting the planning of new learning environments, equipping educators to make the most of contemporary spaces or facilitating stakeholder feedback to inform future projects, my goal is to help create environments that not only look innovative, but genuinely work for the people who use them.
How I Can Help
Supporting schools and design teams through every stage of creating inclusive learning environments
Plan
Building a shared vision for inclusive learning environments by partnering with schools and design teams throughout the planning, briefing and design process.
The success of a learning environment begins with a shared understanding of the learners, educators and communities it is designed to support. I work alongside schools and design teams to bring educational expertise, research evidence and an inclusive lens to the early stages of planning and design. Through collaborative conversations, consultation and design review, I help ensure the needs of diverse learners are considered from the outset and embedded into the vision for the space.
Enable
Equipping educators with the knowledge, confidence and practical strategies to create inclusive learning experiences in contemporary learning environments.
Contemporary learning spaces provide new opportunities for collaboration, flexibility and student-centred learning, but transitioning to these environments requires thoughtful pedagogical approaches. I work with educators to explore the relationship between space, teaching practice and learner needs, providing practical strategies to support confident and inclusive use of contemporary learning environments. Professional learning is tailored to each school’s context, supporting teachers to understand how these spaces can enhance learning, participation and wellbeing for a diverse range of students.
Evaluate
Facilitating stakeholder conversations to understand how learning environments are experienced and inform future design.
Learning environments continue to evolve once they are occupied. Through focus groups, interviews and qualitative analysis, I work with students, teachers and school communities to explore how spaces are being experienced, used and adapted. These insights provide valuable feedback to inform future design decisions, support ongoing improvement and ensure learning environments continue to meet the needs of the people who use them.
Support Tailored to Your Context
Every school, project and learning environment is unique. I work collaboratively to provide flexible, evidence-informed support that responds to your goals, context and the needs of the people who use the space
